Junior Tradeshow Coordinator

The successful candidate is an outgoing, organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, passionate individual with excellent public-speaking skills and a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in coordinating tradeshows.

Your skills include:

  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Able to provide outstanding customer service

You work well under pressure, meet deadlines in a calm manner, and can work on multiple projects simultaneously, all while completing routine daily tasks such as:

  • Data entry
  • Email communications
  • Order processing

Experience in a similar position is preferred, however entry-level applicants with some formal training or experience in a related field will be considered.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in tradeshow coordination
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with data entry
  • Confidence when speaking in front of large groups (up to 40 people)
  • High level of professionalism in your approach to work and dealing with colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working independently and taking on responsibilities
  • Able to develop, plan and implement short and long-range goals and strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and customer-service skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience in tradeshow budgeting
  • Ability to oversee tradeshow activities including:
    • Marketing                  
    • Invitations
    • Agendas
    • Scheduling
    • Process
    • Production Schedules
  • On-site supervision and execution, including rentals
  • Plan, research, source, arrange and coordinate all creative logistical elements as required for Tradeshows, Sponsored events, etc.
  • Manage partner relationships
  • Represent Amico Group of Companies at industry association and client events
  • Clean driver’s abstract, police check and vulnerable sector search

Preferred:

  • Experience in fundraising, or not-for-profit is an asset
  • Experience in securing, organizing and working with volunteers
